Snow and more snow in black and white

Two weeks ago it snowed and I went outside to grab some snapshots under the awning without getting snowed on. It’s stayed quite cold and the snow has stuck around.

Black and white works particularly well for in these conditions, particularly during the day, to simplify and place the emphasis on shapes and contrasts. Here’s some high-contrast black and white images from the snowstorm and its immediate aftermath.
