The unique trucks of New York

After returning from Japan obsessed with their tiny trucks, I started to notice that New York has its own unique variety of trucks and service vehicles. Many have hand-painted signage and funny logos. Some are truly specialized. I’ve attached several photos below, mostly taken in our neighborhood.

Ice cream truck
Truck from the company that builds all the rooftop water tanks
Custom shredding truck
Special delivery from Mr. Pickle
An elusive one – this is the Sun Noodle fresh ramen delivery truck
Fresh seafood delivery
Hand-painted hardware store truck
Replacement boiler truck for an adjacent apartment building
Another hand-painted hardware store truck
Ice delivery truck

Guys using their truck as an outdoor dining table
Classic NYC Sanitation Department garbage truck
This truck with crane is lifting the metal protective plate they use to cover street work
Typical mid-size Target delivery truck – larger vehicles have trouble fitting on certain local streets
This truck is carrying a “chop cheese” sign to a soon-to-be-opened deli. It’s basically a cheesesteak made with ground beef.
This truck and trailer transports NYPD police horses
Hatzalah Jewish ambulance service truck

Falto el que llevaba la cobertura para el Deli del Bronx. De cualquier forma tu colección esta increíble me encantó tanto como la de Japón aunque creo que esta tiene cosas más graciosas 😂.
